The central government told Parliament on Tuesday that so far 162 doctors, 107 nurses, and 44 Asha workers have died across the country due to infection. 8,579 new patients found on Monday

The country received 8,579 cases of corona infection on Monday, 13,443 patients were cured and 94 patients died. This figure of those who lost their lives is the lowest in the past 271 days. Earlier on May 6, 96 infected people died. It is a relief that in the last 24 hours, 12 states and three union territories did not die due to this epidemic. The highest number of deaths occurred in Maharashtra followed by 17 in Kerala. These two states were such that more than 10 people lost their lives.

4. Rajasthan
