
The second wave of the Coronavirus has created a furor in the country. Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Saturday appealed to the Center to form a political consensus on a national policy to tackle the coronavirus global epidemic amid the fast-growing cases of Covid-19 in the country.
Gandhi said in the video message, now the time has come for the central and state governments to wake up and discharge their duties. He said that the vaccine of Covid-19 should be applied free of cost to all citizens and that it should be made mandatory to obtain a license to increase the production of vaccines to speed up the country's vaccination campaign.
