Coronavirus COVID-19 Cases in India: Corona cases increase again in the country, with 7946 new cases in 24 hours; less than 63 thousand active patients

Corona cases have increased again in the country. The Health Ministry released a report on Thursday regarding the cases of Corona. The ministry said that 7,946 new cases of corona infection have been reported in the last 24 hours. On Thursday, the cases of corona have increased as compared to August 31. On Wednesday, 7,231 cases of the corona were registered.

 

Active cases less than 63 thousand

The ministry said that 9,828 have also been cured in the last 24 hours. With this, the active cases have now come down to 62,748. Active cases in the country are 0.14 percent of the total cases. The recovery rate is currently 98.67 percent. Apart from this, the daily positivity rate is 2.98 percent while the weekly positivity rate is 2.57 percent.

 

Let us inform you that a total of 4 crores 38 lakh 45 thousand 680 people have been cured from Corona in the country so far. At the same time, 5 lakh 27 thousand 911 people have died.

 

How many people got the vaccine?

 

So far, more than 212 crore people have been given vaccine doses in the country. Apart from this, more than 102 crore people have taken the first dose. More than 94 crore second doses have been given. The figure for preconception dose is about to reach close to 16 crores. In the last 24 hours, 12 lakh 90 thousand 443 people have been vaccinated. Let us inform you that so far 88.61 crore tests of corona have been done in the country. In a day, 2 lakh 66 thousand 477 people have got the vaccine.
