Firing continues in America. Three people have been taken into custody in the US for allegedly shooting a police officer in Memphis on Wednesday. Police are interrogating the three people taken into custody. Memphis Police Chief CJ Davis gave this information. "We have learned that the fourth suspect is still absconding and the police are looking for him," the police officer was quoted as saying by ABC News.

Horn Lake area incident

The Memphis Police Department received information around 12:30 p.m. local time that a police officer had been shot in the Horn Lake and Horn Lake Cove areas. After receiving information, the injured police officer was admitted to a local hospital, where his condition is said to be critical. The same day a 15-year-old teen was arrested in Washington DC after reports of the shooting and wounding of two students were received, police said.

The DC Metropolitan Police Chief reported that police officers seized more than 2,000 illegal items this year, an increase of nearly 800 from last year. Earlier on Wednesday, another 19-year-old youth was arrested for killing three people, he said. Fox News quoted police as saying that on Sunday, accused Donta Ramon Smith killed three people in a shootout that began at around 4.30 am.

ban on carrying guns

Given these incidents, officials said on Wednesday that firearms would soon be banned in public places, including New York City, and the Times Square district.
