The active cases of corona have declined by 229 in a day. The number of people recovering from corona in the country increased to 4 crores 40 lakh 13 thousand 999 (4,40,13,999). The death rate in Corona's case has gone up to 1.19 percent.
At the same time, under the nationwide vaccination campaign, more than 218.17 crore vaccine doses have been administered in the country. These include the second dose of 94.82 crore vaccine and 20.88 precaution doses.
According to the Union Health Ministry, a total of 89.47 crore tests have been done in the country so far. In the last 24 hours, 3,16,916 corona tests have been done.
