Delhi LS candidate booked for molestation

New Delhi, March 27 (IANS) A 55-year-old Lok Sabha candidate from Delhi has been booked for molesting and misbehaving with an on-duty woman traffic constable Thursday evening, police said.

Sanjay Gandhi, contesting from the Chandni Chowk parliamentary constituency from Brij Vikas Party, was arrested on a complaint by the 26-year-old woman constable.

In her complaint to police, the woman said Gandhi misbehaved with her and tore her uniform when she was on duty in Model Town area of west Delhi, where the accused stays.

The woman said she was attacked when she stopped the leader's car for checking.
