Big changes are afoot on Twitter. Elon Musk, the owner of the social media platform Twitter, announced on Sunday that he would replace Twitter's bird logo with an X. Now the X logo has gone live in place of Twitter's blue bird.
With this, Twitter's new address on the web will now be X.com. Right now the Twitter website is opening on opening X.com. Along with this, the logo of Twitter's official account has also been changed. Now the X logo has been put here.
Twitter is changing
Changes started on Twitter on Monday after Elon Musk's announcement. The home button logo on Twitter has started appearing in black. Twitter's follow button has also turned black. Along with this, the 'Verified Now' button for the unverified users appearing on the left side has also started appearing in black color. That is, gradually Twitter is becoming black from blue.
Elon Musk's new profile picture
Elon Musk has also updated his profile. He has put the X logo on his profile. Along with this, Twitter CEO Linda Yacarino has also updated her profile photo. Along with this, the X logo is now visible in front of the profile names of Elon Musk and Linda instead of the blue bird logo. Along with this, the logo of X has been projected on the headquarters of Twitter, which has been tweeted by Musk.
x.com redirecting to Twitter
Ever since Elon Musk took over the reins of Twitter. They are constantly changing it. In this episode, he has now announced that the domain of Twitter will be changed to x.com. On opening this website it is redirecting to Twitter.
Changes are also happening in Android and iOS apps
Changes have started appearing on Twitter's website as well as in the Android and iOS apps. Twitter CEO Linda Yacarino said in a tweet that along with the website, their app is also being redesigned.
Why X?
Elon Musk has a long association with X. He booked the x.com domain in the year 1999, which he wanted to develop as a one-stop destination for all banking needs. He wanted to make this platform easy for money transactions. He even wanted to make Paypal a subsidiary of x.com. This was not possible.
Now after almost 23 years, Elon Musk is fulfilling his unfulfilled dream and linking it to Twitter's x.com. A few days back he made Twitter a part of his X Corp. In this episode, he has changed the logo of Twitter to X. Along with this, its dashboard has also started turning from blue to black.
