The matter of increasing air pollution in Delhi-NCR has reached the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court has agreed to hear the matter. There will be a hearing in the court on November 10 in the pollution case. It is worth noting that for the last few days the air of Delhi-NCR has become toxic due to pollution. The air quality index in many cities is around 600.

 

Primary school closed in Delhi from tomorrow

Because of air pollution, the Delhi government has taken an important decision. The primary school in Delhi has been announced to be closed from tomorrow. Primary schools will remain closed if the pollution situation in Delhi does not improve. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said during a press conference on Friday, 'We are taking all steps to control the pollution situation. We are closing all primary schools in Delhi from tomorrow. Along with this, outside activities are also being stopped for all classes above class 5.

the online class will run in Noida

Earlier, it has been decided to run online classes in Noida schools. CEO and in-charge District Magistrate Ritu Maheshwari has directed all private and government schools from class 1 to 8 to run online classes.

 

Grape's fourth phase implemented in Delhi-NCR

The Air Quality Management Commission (CAQM) implemented the fourth phase of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAPE) in Delhi-NCR as soon as the air quality reached the critical category zone. It has been revealed in the CAQM meeting that the air quality may remain in the severe or very severe category for the next two-three days. During this, the wind speed will remain calm and the stubble smoke will also increase.

Improvement likely from November 6

It is being said that the air quality in Delhi NCR may improve from November 6. On Sunday, Grape's sub-committee will once again review these restrictions. CAQM has advised the elderly, children, and respiratory patients not to step out of the house unless necessary.
