On Tuesday evening, 167 deposits were evacuated from Markaj in Nizamuddin at the Quarantine Center in Tughlakabad. Residents of Tughlakabad Railway Colony have expressed their apprehension about the well being of their families and the spread of infection. These people also refused to stop roaming around in the quarantine centers.
The spokesperson said that we informed the District Magistrate South-East Delhi and requested to make necessary security to control the deposits or send them to some other suitable place. Four Delhi Police and six CRPF personnel and a PCR van were deployed at the quarantine centers at 5.30 pm. District officials have placed 97 of these people in Diesel Shed Training School Hostel Quarantine and 70 in RPF Barrack Quarantine Center.
