In South East Delhi, more than 160 quarantined depositions have come in the case of abusive behavior from health workers and spitting on doctors. These deposits have been quarantined at the location provided by the railways. This has been confirmed by Northern Railway spokesperson.

On Tuesday evening, 167 deposits were evacuated from Markaj in Nizamuddin at the Quarantine Center in Tughlakabad. Residents of Tughlakabad Railway Colony have expressed their apprehension about the well being of their families and the spread of infection. Railway spokesman Deepak Kumar said that Jamati is abusing the health workers and he keeps moving here and there. One person even tried to commit suicide.

Many of those who attended the event in Markaz have been confirmed to have corona virus infection and some have died. The railway spokesperson said that in the Quarantine centers he (the people brought out of Nizamuddin Markaz) misbehaved with the staff and objected to the food being given to them ... even they looked at the doctors and health workers watching them Spit even. These people also refused to stop roaming around in the quarantine centers.

The spokesperson said that we informed the District Magistrate South-East Delhi and requested to make necessary security to control the deposits or send them to some other suitable place. Four Delhi Police and six CRPF personnel and a PCR van were deployed at the quarantine centers at 5.30 pm. District officials have placed 97 of these people in Diesel Shed Training School Hostel Quarantine and 70 in RPF Barrack Quarantine Center.

The people of the railway colony alleged that the colony has not been made infection free even 24 hours after the people were brought there from Markaz. Residents stayed indoors fearing the spread of the virus and could not even go out to take essential things.

A resident of the colony said that many people standing near the bus coughed, sneezed and even spit on the road. How can we feel safe? Sources said senior railway officials have already spoken to the district officials on the issue.
