
Jammu: Devotees from all over the country are reaching Katra to visit Mata Vaishno Devi during the ever-increasing corona cases in India. In such a situation, because of the safety of the pilgrims, extensive arrangements have been made in Katra to protect it from the corona.
Amidst the ever-increasing cases of the corona, the mother of devotees from all over the country has started reaching Vaishno Devi. However, thousands of devotees reaching Katra remain a challenge for the administration amid growing Corona cases. From the corona investigation of these devotees, the administration has started on a large scale to sanitize the area from the entire city to the building.
Along with this, a campaign has been waged to follow the protocols issued to the devotees to protect them from the corona, along with the police. Sanitation is being done for 24 hours at the places where the passengers are staying and the police personnel, as well as the employees of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board, are reaching here and the devotees are required to wear masks and sanitize them. Along with this, the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board and the administration have made the corona investigation of every devotee reaching Katra mandatory. From Katra's bus stand to the railway station, a large number of pilgrims reaching here are being tested. The administration claims that if a devotee is found corona positive after testing here, it is either sent back or is being quarantined.
