A "Level-three" travel warning is issued when long-term or severe conditions pose a risk to travelers and visitors, and when non-essential travel is considered necessary. Is. The US has also advised its citizens not to travel around the Line of Control (LoC) due to the threat of terrorism and armed conflict.

"Terrorists can strike with little or no warning," the advisory said. They can target transportation hubs, markets, shopping malls, military installations, airports, universities, tourist sites, schools, hospitals, places of worship, and government facilities.
