Due to Corona crisis in Uttar Pradesh, many industrial groups and entrepreneurs have come forward to provide work to migrant workers who have returned home from outside. The state government claims that so far the demand for five lakh skilled workers has come from industry groups. The help of entrepreneurs is mapping the skill data of the state government which is being prepared for special migrant laborers.
The state government spokesperson says that the campaign of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to give jobs to migrant workers here is bringing color. Many industrial groups and entrepreneurs of Uttar Pradesh have come forward to give employment to workers and workers who have returned from outside.
He claims that so far entrepreneurs have asked for 5 lakh workers and workers from the Skill Mapping Data Bank of Uttar Pradesh government. Apart from this, survey and mapping of every industrial institutes of the state has been started on the instructions of the Chief Minister. The state government is looking for opportunities to generate employment in every industrial institutes. The Chief Minister said that the skilling of all the workers coming from outside is being done and so far the skill mapping of 16 lakh workers and workers has been completed. He said that the state government will provide all the facilities including electricity, water, sewer, along with building tax on giving shops and shelter for workers or workers at cheap rates for employment or jobs. Developers who build shops or houses for workers will also get an exemption in FAR on the map.
Chief Minister Yogi has directed that manpower should be strengthened in every industrial unit. In this way, space should be made for at least one to 10 workers in every industrial unit. He has also directed to create at least one additional employment in 70 lakh small and medium units of the state. The state government has sought information from each unit about the demand for slid and non-skilled man power.
Chief Minister Yogi, who is also involved in providing all kind of help to the industries, has given direct instructions to the officials to start work in all the industrial institutions at a rapid pace and provide full support to the entrepreneurs in clearing the supply chain and other government subsidies. He said that with the help of running the industries, the government is seeking the demand of manpower from every small and big enterprise unit. At the same time, the Yogi government is also arranging for apprentices and training for workers and workers in industrial units. The state government also plans to provide apprentice allowance to the trainees themselves and industrial groups during the apprenticeship.
