Weekend lockdown has been imposed in all cities of the state

 

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, while speaking to media representatives after planting the saplings at Smart Park today, said that because of the growing corona infection, it is becoming necessary to lockdown in all cities of the state from 6 pm Friday to 6 am. Instructions have been given to all officers in this regard. The Crisis Management Group of all the districts have been instructed to hold meetings immediately to take necessary and appropriate decisions because of the present load and circumstances of their districts. Considering the situation of corona infection, container areas will also be built in major cities if needed.

 

'Number of beds is being increased in hospitals'

 

CM Shivraj said that along with these measures, the state government is also continuously working on the expansion of the system of treatment. The number of beds in the state is being increased from 36 thousand to one lakh. Covid care centers are being set up in each district. Cooperation of private hospitals with government hospitals is also being sought. The state government is also arranging free treatment in private hospitals. Peoples and J.K. in Bhopal Arrangements are being made in the hospital. Instructions have been given to use the capacity of private hospitals in Indore and other cities too.

 

'There will be no oxygen supply crisis'

 

Along with this, the CM also said that there is no crisis of oxygen supply in the state. The supply of oxygen from the Bhilai Steel Plant has started. Procurement of Remedicer Injection is also being started at the government level. There will be no shortage of medicines, it will also be managed appropriately. He said that corona infection is an epidemic, in which it is not possible to make any assessment. The number of positive patients is increasing in the country and the state. It is necessary to maintain patience, patience, and confidence. The state government will face this crisis by taking everyone along.

 

CM Shivraj will talk to district collectors and superintendents of police through video conferencing

 

The Chief Minister said that after the video-conferencing of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, I will make a video conference with the Collector and Superintendents of Police of all the districts of the state. Discussions will be held with colleagues of the Council of Ministers on April 9 at 3 pm and all MPs and MLAs of the state at 5 pm. A strategy for war against Corona will be developed by taking everyone into confidence. It is a time of examination, we will fight together and succeed. He said that using the state mask, maintain social distancing, wash hands frequently, and do not get out of the house unnecessarily.

 

Corona cases are increasing rapidly in Madhya Pradesh

 

Madhya Pradesh reported 4,043 new cases of coronavirus infection on Wednesday and with this, the total number of people found infected with the virus so far in the state reached 3,18,014. An official of the state health department gave this information. He said that 13 more persons have died in the state in the last 24 hours due to this epidemic. So far the death toll in the state has gone up to 4,086. He said that 866 new cases of Covid-19 came on Wednesday in the state, while 618 new cases were reported in Bhopal.
