Royal Challengers Bangalore says that opener Devadutt has joined the RCB team's bio bubble. He was a victim of a Corona infection recently. His return will strengthen the team's batting. The first match of IPL 2021 between Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians will be played in Chennai on 9 April. Meanwhile, the medical team of RCB is constantly in touch with Padiqkal so that they can be given more security.

The 22-year-old RCB batsman had come under the grip of Corona the previous day, after which he was quarantined at his home in Bangalore. He underwent a corona test on March 22, after which his report came back positive.
