Royal Challengers Bangalore says that opener Devadutt has joined the RCB team's bio bubble. He was a victim of a Corona infection recently. His return will strengthen the team's batting. The first match of IPL 2021 between Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians will be played in Chennai on 9 April. Meanwhile, the medical team of RCB is constantly in touch with Padiqkal so that they can be given more security.

The 22-year-old RCB batsman had come under the grip of Corona the previous day, after which he was quarantined at his home in Bangalore. He underwent a corona test on March 22, after which his report came back positive.

In the IPL played in the United Arab Emirates in the last year 2020, Padyakkal made a blistering performance for RCB. This year he scored the highest number of 473 runs in 15 matches for his team. He is the second uncapped player to score 400 or more while making his IPL history. After his return, now Virat Kohli's team will get a boost.

The good news came for Royal Challengers Bangalore when their all-rounder player Daniel Semmes of Australia received a Corona Report positive. The franchise has said in its statement that Daniel's corona report was negative when he visited India on 3 April. But after her second investigation in Chennai, Sam's report came back positive.

In IPL 2021, four players from different teams have been infected by Corona so far. These players who have been infected by Covid-19 include Nitish Rana, Akshar Patel, Devdutt Padyakkal, and Daniel Symes. But now Nitish and Padyakkal are cured. But Akshar and Symes are yet to recover.
