Hardik Pandya once appeared on the show Coffee with Karan with his friend KL Rahul. When this show was telecast, there was a lot of uproar about it. The show aired in the year 2019 and Hardik made some such comments on the show due to which things got worse. These were considered inappropriate and insulting by many. Social media was full of criticism of the cricketer.

The matter escalated so much that the BCCI had to intervene and suspend both the players from the ODI series against Australia.

What did Esha Gupta say at that time?

In the same year, Hardik was rumored to be dating actress Esha Gupta. However, at that time neither of them confirmed the relationship. But when the 'Jannat 2' actress was questioned about this, she answered it fearlessly. At a public event, when someone asked her what she thought about Hardik Pandya's comments on 'Koffee with Karan', the actress immediately distanced herself from him.

Women are the best in every aspect.

She said, "Who said they are my friends?" That's not all. Isha also criticized Hardik Pandya while speaking on the issue of women being compared to men. Clarifying her point, she said, "First of all, women should not compare themselves to men. We are the best in every aspect. I don't want anyone to feel bad, so why don't you give birth to a child? We go through periods for five days every month and still, we have to dance, go to the office, and take care of children. When you can do all this, you become the best." When Isha was asked if there was any possibility of them becoming a couple, she said, "There might have been, but it seems it was not meant to be. At that time, Hardik was already in controversies due to some statements on TV, and by then, our conversation had also stopped."
