High-level meeting on the security of Jammu and Kashmir: Amit Shah told the officers – to adopt the policy of zero tolerance against terrorism

Home Minister Amit Shah on Wednesday held a high-level meeting in Delhi on the issue of security and development of Leh-Ladakh and Jammu-Kashmir. Home Secretary, NIA, CRPF-BSF officers, and LG Manoj Sinha were present at this.

 

Amit Shah said that the policy of zero tolerance should be adopted against terrorism. He asked to complete the development works of Jammu and Kashmir on time. He also said that there is a need to dismantle the networks that aid and abet terrorists and separatists.

 

The meeting was called after an encounter between security forces and terrorists at Sidhra in Jammu on Wednesday morning. 4 terrorists were killed in this. Only after this, the Ministry of Home Affairs was alerted.
