Know what the High Court said in its order
The High Court in its order said that we will pass the order. Till then, let the school-college start. But till the matter is not resolved, no one will be allowed to wear religious attire. The High Court said, “Religious clothes like the hijab or saffron shawls shall not be worn in school-college premises till the disposal of the judgment. We'll stop everyone. Because we want peace in the state. The High Court is hearing petitions on behalf of Muslim girl students challenging the hijab ban in colleges.
Many cases are pending in the court
During the hearing of the case, the State High Court has said that at present they are also considering another issue whether wearing a headscarf comes under Fundamental Rights. The court said that they are also considering whether wearing a headscarf is an essential part of religious tradition.
