Hindu side's demand on Gyanvapi: Where Shivling was found, survey the basement, if it is a fountain, then show the system of water supply

Posted on 18th May 2022 02:06 pm by rohit kumar

Hindu side lawyer Harishankar Jain appeared before the media on Wednesday in the Gyanvapi case. He said, "A survey of the basement below where the Shivling has been found should be done. The front wall should be cleaned and videography should be done in a good way. We hope that the court will give its verdict on our application based on facts and evidence." Let us inform you that Harishankar Jain's health deteriorated on Monday. After that, he was admitted to the hospital. There was some improvement in his condition on Wednesday.

If there is a fountain, show it by running it.

At the same time, Vishnu Jain, the second lawyer of the Hindu side, said that the other side is calling the Shivling found in the Vazukhana of the Gyanvapi Masjid a fountain. If so, show it by running a fountain. If there is a fountain, then there will also be a complete system of water supply. So why is the defendant's party objecting to the investigation? He also claimed that the path leads from Vyasji's chamber in front of Nandi Maharaj to the Shivling. The court has been asked to excavate there. Vishnu Jain also said that the responsibility of maintaining a good environment is not of only one party.

Plaintiff women have given application in court

Once again a survey has been demanded in Gyanvapi on behalf of the Hindu side i.e. Maa Shringar Gauri case litigants Sita Sahu, Manju Vyas, and Rekha Pathak. Application has been given on 4 points including demolishing some walls of Gyanvapi complex. However, due to the strike by the lawyers, the matter has not been heard till now.

Lawyers went on strike even before the hearing

Lawyers went on strike even before the hearing in Varanasi's Gyanvapi campus survey case today. They allege that a letter has been sent to all the DMs of the state on behalf of Prafulla Kamal, the special secretary of the state government. Lawyers allege – As written by the Special Secretary in the letter, it seems that he intends to address the lawyer's chaos. The lawyers raised slogans by burning the letter of the Special Secretary.

Today two applications are to be heard in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Ravi Kumar Diwakar on seven points. Meanwhile, lawyers of 'The Banaras Bar Association' and 'The Central Bar Association' are protesting. The first application is from the UP government i.e. DGC Civil Mahendra Prasad Pandey. The second application is from the Hindu side, ie Sita Sahu, Manju Vyas, and Rekha Pathak, the litigants of the Maa Shringar Gauri case.

Special secretary's letter lit

The lawyers torched the letter of Prafulla Kamal, Special Secretary to the UP government while protesting and raising slogans. Said that the special secretary should withdraw his letter. Otherwise, on May 20, lawyers will protest in all the districts of the state. During this, the lawyers raised slogans against the special secretary of the UP government, Praful Kamal.

Application 1: Fix after sealing

In the Gyanvapi case, an application has been filed on behalf of the UP government in the Varanasi court. DGC Civil Mahendra Prasad Pandey has applied in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division Ravi Kumar Diwakar. It has made three demands.

The 3 feet deep man-made pond located at Gyanvapi Mosque has been sealed. There are pipelines and taps all around it. Namazis use that tap for Wuzu. Due to the sealing of the pond premises, arrangements should be made outside for the prayers of the worshipers.

There are also toilets in the sealed area of Gyanvapi. They are used by worshippers. Now they are not being allowed to go there. So they should be arranged.

There are also some fish in the sealed pond. In such a situation, they are not able to get food items. Those fish should now be released somewhere else in the water.

Second application: videography by demolishing some walls

Once again a survey has been demanded in Gyanvapi on behalf of the Hindu side i.e. Maa Shringar Gauri case litigants Sita Sahu, Manju Vyas, and Rekha Pathak. Application has been given on 4 points including demolishing some walls of Gyanvapi complex.

Where Shivling is found in Gyanvapi, no one should perform Wudu in and around it.

Debris should be removed by breaking the wall in the east and north direction of Shivling as well as the north side of Nandi.

Commission action should be taken to find out the length, width, and height of Shivling.

The mandapam should also be video graphed by breaking the west wall inside the barricading.

It is believed that the decision of the court will come on both these applications in the afternoon. Apart from this, it is also believed that the district court can take any decision keeping in mind the order of the Supreme Court related to the Gyanvapi case. The Supreme Court will hear the matter on May 19.

Advocate Commissioner Ajay removed

Three applications were given in the court on Tuesday regarding the survey matter of the Gyanvapi campus. In this sequence, the court, while hearing the application of Special Advocate Commissioner Vishal Singh, ordered the removal of Advocate Commissioner Ajay Kumar Mishra from the action of the commission. Also, the request of giving two days to prepare the survey report of the commission regarding the Gyanvapi campus was accepted.

The third day of the survey: Claim of getting Shivling

The videography process was completed on May 16, the last day of the survey. Vishnu Jain, the lawyer for 5 women, including the petitioner Rekha, claimed to have found a Shivling in the Vazukhana. After this, the place was sealed. Refuting the claim of the Hindu side, the Anjuman Inazaniya Masajid Committee has called it a fountain. The Muslim side has also said that they will appeal against the order of the district court in the High Court.

Day 2 of the survey: 80% of the campus survey completed

On May 15, a further survey of 80% of the campus was completed. On this day also the survey was conducted for 4 hours. The upper rooms, dome, ceiling, and walls of the Gyanvapi complex were videographed. In addition, the carvings of the doors were also photographed with a high lens camera.

Day 1 of the survey: 4 cellars were opened and videographed

On the first day of the survey, i.e., May 14, 50% of the Gyanvapi campus was video graphed. Four cellars were opened that day during a 4-hour survey. Cleaned the basements. After this the team got his videography done. Checked the carvings on the walls.

5 women had filed a petition

Rakhi Singh, a resident of Delhi and Laxmi Devi, Sita Sahu, Manju Vyas, and Rekha Pathak, a resident of Banaras, filed a petition in the court of Civil Judge Senior Division, Varanasi on 18 August 2021. It said that the Gyanvapi complex houses Hindu deities. In such a situation, regular darshan worship of Maa Shringar Gauri should be allowed on the Gyanvapi campus.

Along with this, it was also said in the petition to clarify the situation by surveying the safety of other deities located on the premises. The temple of Maa Shringar Gauri is on the backside of Gyanvapi. Before 1992, there used to be regular darshan worship here. Later it was closed due to security and other reasons. At present, one day in a year during Chaitra Navratri, the worship of Maa Shringar Gauri is allowed.
