In a picture surfaced on social media, this West Australian player was seen sitting with his feet on the trophy, and cricket fans are strongly criticizing it. Marsh, who was also a part of Australia's world champion team in 2015, was caught by KL Rahul on the ball of Jasprit Bumrah after scoring 15 runs on Sunday.
However, after the win, he was seen sitting in the dressing room with his feet on the trophy. It is being criticized a lot. The fans called this behavior wrong and said that they should have some respect for the trophy.
What happened in the match?
Australia captain Pat Cummins won the toss and decided to bowl. The Indian team was reduced to 240 runs in 50 overs. Australia won the match by scoring 241 runs for four wickets in 43 overs. Travis Head played a match-winning inning of 141 runs for the Kangaroo team. Maransh Labuschagne scored 58 not out. Mitchell Marsh was out after scoring 15 runs, David Warner after scoring seven, Steve Smith after scoring four runs. Glenn Maxwell scored two unbeaten runs.
