IND vs AUS: PM Narendra Modi-Anthony Albanese celebrates 75 years of friendship, a special meeting with players

PM Modi Anthony Albanese, IND vs AUS 4th Test. The last match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia is being played today i.e. on March 9 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Australian PM Anthony Albanese have reached the stadium to watch this match.

 

It is a celebration of 75 years of cricketing friendship between India and Australia. BCCI President Roger Binny welcomed the Australian Prime Minister by giving him a moment. After this, the Prime Minister of both countries handed over the test cap to their respective captains and took a round of the entire ground sitting in a golf cart. Its video is becoming increasingly viral on social media.

IND vs AUS 4th Test: Australia won the toss and elected to bat

 

The last match of the four-match Test series between India and Australia is being played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Before this match, captain Steve Smith won the toss and decided to bat. At the same time, Team India captain Rohit Sharma made a change in his playing-11. Announcing the playing-11, Rohit said that Mohammad Siraj was rested and Mohammad Shami got a chance in his place.

This match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy is also becoming a memorial of 75 years of friendship between India and Australia. Huge hoardings have been put up on the stadium premises to welcome the Prime Minister of both countries. The special punchline written on the hoardings is "75 years of friendship through cricket".

 

The hoardings also featured past and present cricketing legends of both countries. Meanwhile, formerly Indian and current commentator Ravi Shastri briefed the two prime ministers about the past and present cricketers, whose pictures are in a beautiful collage. Not only this, both the Prime Ministers shook hands with all the players before the national anthem and joined the national anthem with the players.
