India beat South Africa by 130 runs

Melbourne, Feb 22 (IANS) India defeated South Africa by 130 runs in their second World Cup Pool B match at the Melbourne Cricket Ground here Sunday.

Driven by Shikhar Dhawan's 137, India posted a strong total of 307/7 which South Africa failed to chase down, getting bowled out for 177 in 40.2 overs.

Ravichandran Ashwin was the most successful Indian bowler claiming three Proteas wickets for 41 runs.
