India extended its help to Sri Lanka again: 3800 crores will be given to buy oil, China is still not ready to give concession in debt

Sri Lanka's Foreign Minister GL Peiris said that on our request for help, India has announced financial assistance. Peiris says that the World Bank has also assured Sri Lanka of help, but it may take up to 6 months. Meanwhile, China has rejected the request to ease the loan installments to Sri Lanka, which is buried by China's debt of 27 thousand crore rupees.

 

Gotabaya is ready to resign

Speaking to Dainik Bhaskar, Sri Lanka's Director of Information and Official Spokesperson of the President, Milind Rajapaksa said, "I think India can play the biggest role.
