iQOO is preparing to expand its Z-series smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the iQOO Z11. The new smartphone is scheduled to debut in the country on August 20, and the company has already revealed one of its biggest highlights ahead of the launch.
According to iQOO, the iQOO Z11 will be India's first smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo chipset. The company says the new processor will focus on improved performance, artificial intelligence capabilities, multitasking and demanding workloads.
The smartphone will compete in India's increasingly competitive mid-premium segment, where brands such as Redmi, Motorola and Realme are offering feature-packed devices.
iQOO Z11 Launch Date in India
The iQOO Z11 India launch is scheduled for August 20.
While the company has revealed the smartphone's processor and teased its design, several other specifications and the official price are expected to be announced during the launch event.
The Z11 will join the existing iQOO Z-series lineup, which already includes models such as the iQOO Z11 Lite and iQOO Z11x.
Dimensity 7500 Turbo Chipset Is the Biggest Highlight
The MediaTek Dimensity 7500 Turbo will be the main performance highlight of the iQOO Z11.
The octa-core chipset is built using a 4nm manufacturing process and features the MediaTek NPU 850 for on-device AI processing.
According to iQOO, the chipset delivers more than twice the AI performance of the previous generation. The company is also claiming that the iQOO Z11 has crossed 1.2 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark.
iQOO positions the Dimensity 7500 Turbo as a performance upgrade over the Dimensity 7400 and Dimensity 7300 platforms.
Real-world performance, however, will depend on factors including software optimisation, thermal management, RAM and storage configuration.
iQOO Z11 Design and Colour Options
iQOO has already teased the design of the upcoming smartphone.
The iQOO Z11 is expected to be available in Aurora Green and Celestial Blue colour options.
The rear panel will feature a new “Skyline Camera Module”, with a horizontal pill-shaped design housing two large camera rings, an additional sensor and a circular LED ring light.
The handset is also expected to feature a curved rear panel, a quad-curved display and slim bezels, giving it a more premium appearance.
iQOO Z11 May Feature 144Hz OLED Display
According to current leaks and reports, the iQOO Z11 could feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with support for a 144Hz refresh rate.
If confirmed, the high refresh rate could provide smoother scrolling, animations and supported gaming compared with conventional 60Hz and 120Hz displays.
However, iQOO has not yet officially confirmed all of these display specifications, so they should be treated as expected specifications until the launch.
Massive Battery and 90W Charging Expected
Battery life could be another major selling point of the iQOO Z11.
Reports suggest that the smartphone could feature a battery with a capacity between 7,000mAh and 8,000mAh, paired with 90W fast charging.
If these specifications are confirmed, the Z11 could appeal to users looking for extended battery life without moving to a dedicated rugged or gaming smartphone.
The final battery capacity and charging specifications will be confirmed by iQOO at launch.
iQOO Z11 Camera Specifications
The camera setup could also receive a significant upgrade.
The iQOO Z11 is expected to feature a 50MP primary camera with optical image stabilisation (OIS). For selfies and video calls, the smartphone could come with a 32MP front-facing camera.
The device may also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor.
These camera specifications remain based on reports and should not be treated as officially confirmed until iQOO releases the complete specification sheet.
IP68 and IP69 Ratings Expected
Another major feature tipped for the iQOO Z11 is enhanced durability.
The phone could receive IP68 and IP69 ratings, which would provide a higher level of protection against dust and water.
If confirmed, this would add another advantage for buyers looking for a smartphone that combines premium hardware with improved resistance to environmental exposure.
Up to 12GB RAM Could Be Offered
The iQOO Z11 is also expected to come with up to 12GB of RAM.
Combined with the Dimensity 7500 Turbo processor, the higher RAM configuration could help with multitasking, gaming and running demanding applications.
The final RAM and storage variants, however, are yet to be officially announced.
iQOO Z11 Price in India
The iQOO Z11 price in India has not yet been announced.
The company is expected to reveal pricing, availability, RAM and storage configurations and the complete specification list during the August 20 launch event.
The final price will be an important factor because the smartphone is expected to compete against several mid-premium devices from Redmi, Motorola and Realme.
