A surprising case has come to light in Iran. A case of poisoning hundreds of girls to prevent girls from going to school has come to light in a city in Iran. An Iranian minister has disclosed this. The minister said that a conspiracy was hatched by some people to poison hundreds of girl students in Iran's holy city of Qom to close the girls' schools.
Since November last year, poisoning has been confirmed in the bodies of schoolgirls in the city of Qom, many of whom had to be hospitalized. On Sunday, Iran's deputy health minister Yunus Panahi confirmed the incident. According to Iranian local media, several female students were poisoned in schools in Qom. Some wanted all schools, especially girls' schools, to be closed. Although Iran's minister Panahi has refused to give more information on this matter. At present, the Government of Iran is investigating the matter.
According to media reports, female students studying in 14 schools in four cities of Iran were targeted. These include the northwestern city of Ardebil, the capital of Tehran, the western city of Borozard, and the city of Qom. The city of Qom is considered the holy city of Iran and is considered to be a very conservative and religiously fanatic city. Most of the leaders and presidents of the country have taken their religious education from the city of Qom. Several videos had also surfaced on social media, in which some angry relatives were protesting outside educational institutions.
The poisoning of the girls comes at a time when violent anti-hijab protests in Iran have recently spread across the country and gained support around the world. The protests were sparked by the death in police custody of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, who turned violent. More than 500 people were reportedly killed by security forces in these protests and four protesters were hanged. Thousands of people were put in jail.
