Indian Railways has always been making special arrangements for the passengers on festivals. Keeping in mind the huge rush of passengers on the occasion of Rakshabandhan, Railways has announced special trains this time also. Western Railway has announced six special trains because of the huge rush of passengers during 'Raksha Bandhan'. These trains will run on different routes at different times.
According to a press release, Bandra – Bhavnagar Terminus Superfast Special Train Number (09207) will leave Bandra Terminus at 7:25 hrs on 13th August and will reach Bhavnagar at 9:25 hrs the next day. For the return journey train (09208) will leave Bhavnagar Terminus at 2:50 PM on 14th August and will reach Bandra at 6 AM the next day. The routes falling on the way of this train are as follows – Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Surendranagar Gate, Batod, and Dhola stations will fall on the way.
Bhavnagar – Bandra Terminus Superfast Special train (09208) will resume from Bhavnagar at 2.50 pm on 1st September and will reach Bandra at 6.00 am. For the return journey, the train (09207) will leave Bandra at 9:15 AM and reach Bhavnagar at 11:45 PM.
Mumbai Central – Okha Special (09097) will depart Mumbai Central at 11:05 AM on 12 Aug and arrive at Okha at 0335 AM the next day. For the return journey train (09098) will re-depart Okha at 10:00 AM on 15th Aug and arrive at Mumbai Central at 0435 AM the next day. These inbound trains will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Surendranagar, Rajkot, Hapa, Jamnagar, and Dwarka stations.
Bandra Terminus – Indore Superfast Special (09191) will leave Bandra at 2:40 PM on 10th August and arrive in Indore at 4:40 AM, the next day. On the return journey, the train (09192) will leave Indore at 9:40 PM on 11th August and will reach Bandra at 1:10 PM the next day. Stations lying on its route include Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, and Dewas.
Bandra Terminus – Indore Superfast Special (09069) will depart Bandra at 02:50 hrs on 12th August and arrive in Indore at 4:40 hrs, the next day. On the return journey, the train (09070) will leave Indore at 9 PM on 13th August and will reach Bandra at 11:55 AM on 14th August. The stations on its route will be Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, and Dewas, where these trains will stop.
Mumbai Central – Jaipur Special (09183) will leave Mumbai Central at 10:50 hrs on 10th August and reach Jaipur at 06:30 hrs the next day. Similarly, the train (09184) will leave Jaipur at 7:35 pm on 11th August and will reach Borivali at 12:30 pm on 12th August. The train will stop at Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, and Durgapur stations from both sides.
Mumbai Central-Okha Special (09097), Okha-Mumbai Central Special (09098), Bandra Terminus-Indore Superfast Special (09191), Indore Superfast Special-Bandra Terminus (09192), Mumbai Central-Jaipur Special (09183) and Jaipur Special- Bookings for Mumbai Central (09184) will start from August 8. Bookings for Bandra-Bhavnagar Terminus Superfast Special Train (09207) and Bhavnagar Terminus-Bandra Superfast Special Train (09208) will open from August 9.
