Los Angeles, March 18 (IANS) Sony and EON productions revealed a new teaser poster for the upcoming 24th sequel in the Bond films franchise, "Spectre", and it features James Bond's character ditching the formals.
The poster features Daniel Craig, who will be embodying James Bond's character for the fourth time, wearing a fitted black high neck T-shirt, instead of the usual formal suit-tie that he wears for the role.
In the film, a cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
SPECTRE (Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion), as Bond fans would know, is a fictional global terrorist organisation featured in Ian Fleming's novels, as well as the films and video games based on those novels.
The organisation was led by the villain, Ernst Stavro Blofeld, although the cast is definitely playing it coy about whether or not Blofeld will actually appear in the new film.
The Sam Mendes-directed sequel also stars Christoph Waltz, Monica Bellucci, Naomie Harris, Ralph Fiennes, Ben Whishaw, Léa Seydoux and Andrew Scott.
"Spectre", written by John Logan and Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, hits theatres on November 6.
