Agartala, March 19 (IANS) Pratapaditya Datta, an IAS officer of the 2010 Tripura-Manipur cadre and an election observer for Jammu and Kashmir, died here Wednesday following cardiac arrest, an official said.

He was 50 and is survived by his wife and a child.

"Datta, registrar of co-operatives under the Tripura government, felt uneasy and complained of giddiness while working in office.
