Pakistan is not deterring from its nefarious antics. After hurling an IED tiffin bomb from a drone in the Kanachak sector of Akhnoor on Monday, once again a Pakistani drone attempted to infiltrate with a drone in the Arnia sector, adjacent to the Jammu International Border. On seeing the light in the sky, the alert soldiers of BSF started firing on it, after which the drone returned to the Pakistan border.
Police and BSF personnel are conducting a search operation along the International Border in the Arnia sector. It is feared that like Kanachak, Pakistan may have tried to throw weapons or IEDs here with the help of drones. The search operation is on. According to the information received from the police, the drone was seen in the early hours of Thursday. A suspected Pakistani drone was spotted by BSF personnel at an altitude of about 300 meters in the Arnia sector, adjacent to the International Border (IB) in Jammu. As soon as the drone entered the Indian border, the soldiers started firing at it.
On Monday, three magnetic IEDs dropped by a drone were recovered in the Akhnoor border area of Jammu.
As soon as the firing took place, the drone returned to the border of Pakistan. The jawans informed their officers in this regard. BSF and police are continuing a massive search operation in the Arnia sector to allay the apprehension that terrorist organizations did not send consignments, weapons, or IEDs to Jammu with the help of drones. A BSF official said that the incident happened around 4.30 am.
It was only after seeing the light in the sky that the BSF jawans opened fire on the drone. Let us tell you that in the last few days, cases of infiltration by drones have increased along the International Border and the Line of Control. To increase terrorist attacks in Kashmir and disrupt the upcoming Amarnath Yatra, Pakistan is making constant efforts to supply arms and IEDs to terrorist organizations operating here. In recent days, several drones have been shot down in Jammu, Kathua, and Samba sectors. The same has also been seized from their payload, which includes a rifle, Improvised Explosive Device (IED), narcotics, and sticky bombs.
