Rishabh Pant has captained many matches for his team Delhi Capitals in IPL and now his captaincy is to be against South Africa in the first T20 International match against Test South Africa in Delhi. Rishabh Pant is going to captain Team India for the first time in T20 International cricket. It will be the Pant's effort to make the Indian team win in front of the home fans on his home ground and if he manages to do so as a captain, then a big world record will be recorded in the name of Team India.

The Indian cricket team has won 12 consecutive T20 Internationals so far and is tied with Afghanistan and Romania.
