Largest jump in corona patients, more than 5 thousand cases in 24 hours, 157 deaths

New Delhi. New patients of Coronavirus are now increasing rapidly every day. In the last 24 hours, more than 5 thousand new cases of Corona have been revealed. 157 people died during this period. This is the record so far. Earlier on Saturday, 4987 new cases were revealed. The total death toll has also crossed 3 thousand. The total number of patients in India has now reached 96169. While 3029 people have died so far from this dangerous virus.

 

 

More than 2 thousand new cases in Maharashtra

There has also been a record increase in the number of new patients in Maharashtra, 2347 new cases were reported here on Sunday. This is the first case when more than 2 thousand new cases have come from one state in a day. 1595 new corona patients found in Mumbai. Whereas only 590 new cases were reported between 10 and 14 May. In Aurangabad, Maharashtra, the number of corona positive patients has crossed 1000. In the last 24 hours, 59 new corona patients have appeared in Aurangabad. The number of corona patients in Aurangabad has now reached 1021. It is becoming a new hotspot in the state.

 

 

 

38 people died in Mumbai

In the last 24 hours, 63 people have died in Maharashtra due to this dangerous virus. Of these, 38 deaths occurred only in Mumbai. On Sunday, 34 people died in Gujarat, out of which 31 people lost their lives in Ahmedabad. During the last 24 hours, 19 people have died in Delhi. Death figures are increasing rapidly in other states as well

In the last 24 hours, 422 new cases have been reported in Delhi. In Gujarat, this number stood at 391. While 639 new patients of Corona have been found in Tamil Nadu. Here the total number of patients has crossed 11 thousand. There have been 482 new cases in Chennai.
