Because of the situation, DG Health Dr. Lilly Singh has issued an advisory to medical officers across the state.
Director of Health Department of UP, Communicable Diseases Dr. AK Singh told that 10-10 beds in all Covid hospitals in the state have been asked to be reserved for monkeypox patients. Just as the RRT teams were on alert in the districts regarding Covid, in the same way they are on alert for this. Contact tracing, sampling, and isolating them are instructions to do the same things as they were at the time of Covid.
Dr. AK Singh said that the Kovid shirt used to spread in time. Whereas it spreads over up to 21 days. The second is that Kovid spreads after meeting an infected person for a while. But monkeypox will spread on prolonged contact. There is a possibility of spreading it after being in contact for 1-2 days. He told that this is a new virus of the smallpox group. In this, rashes start on the face, accompanied by fever, body pain, vomiting, and redness in the eyes. In this, the isolelash remains until all the wounds are healed.
