Monsoon has reached Karnataka on Friday after soaking Kerala and Lakshadweep. Along with South and North Karnataka, parts of Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh are also receiving rain. It has been raining intermittently in Kerala and Lakshadweep for the last 24 hours. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain in Kerala within 12 hours. In the last 24 hours, Kerala's Thrissur with 11 cm, Kochi 9 cm, Kozhikode 7 cm, Vakad (Mallapuram district) 16 cm, Konni and Kanjirapalli (Kottayam district) 14 cm, Punjar and Konni with 13 cm Piravam It has rained 12 cm.

 

Monsoon can reach Madhya Pradesh by June 20 and in Rajasthan by June 25. Rajasthan: Monsoon may arrive 4 days before

Monsoon enters Rajasthan from the area of ​​Dungarpur-Banswara. It enters the Rajasthan border 8-10 days after the arrival of the monsoon in Gujarat. IMD has also predicted 6 percent more rain than normal in the state this time.

 

Madhya Pradesh: Pre-monsoon begins, heavy rain in Indore

Pre-monsoon rains have started in Madhya Pradesh. The order of cloud cover continues in the afternoon for the last 4 days. It is also raining in many districts in the evening. On Thursday, at 3 p.m., suddenly dark clouds covered Indore. Heavy rain started with a thunderstorm. Since the beginning of June, the temperature has remained around 38 degrees due to rain. The night temperature was also recorded at 21.8 degrees. Similarly, Chhindwara also received heavy rain with a thunderstorm in the afternoon. It was cloudy in Bhopal.

 

Haryana: Monsoon may arrive ahead of schedule

Monsoon may knock ahead of time in Haryana. In such a situation, there is a possibility that the monsoon will reach the state in the last week of June or early July. The state has been receiving an average of 460 mm of rain from June to September in the monsoon, but for the first time in the last 10 years, it had reached 415 mm in 2018. Since 1990, there has been such a situation only 12 times when there has been normal or above-normal rainfall. Whereas 17 times it has rained below normal. In 1995, the state had received 83 percent more rainfall than normal, when there was a flood situation.

 

Chhattisgarh: Rain in many districts including Raipur

It will normally take two more weeks for the Southwest Monsoon to enter Chhattisgarh. Rain was seen in many parts of the state including Raipur on Thursday evening. However, meteorologists clarified that it is not pre-monsoon rains. Rather, it has rained due to the effect of a cyclone active on North Chhattisgarh.
