Two Years of National Education Policy (NEP 2020): Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday said that the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020) is in line with the country's roots and has received unprecedented acceptance from across the country. He claimed that this was the first national education policy in which opposing voices were not raised.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah was addressing the inauguration ceremony of new initiatives under the new National Education Policy on Friday, July 29. Union Minister for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship Dharmendra Pradhan and Ministers of State for Education, Skill Development, and Entrepreneurship were also present on the occasion. During his address, Shah also praised Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. He described the new National Education Policy as paving the way for the growth of the country's education and economy.

New education policy laying the foundation for a strong and self-reliant future

Addressing the function, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that the National Education Policy is laying the foundation for a strong and self-reliant future by bringing revolutionary changes in the education sector of the country. He said that this education policy paves the way for worldwide research, adjustment of modernization, and new thinking. This has clarified the nature of India's education system in the world of digital world and globalization. There is no place for narrowness in this.

New education policy is related to the cultural roots of India

Shah said that Swami Vivekananda Ji had said… that which makes a person capable of struggle, makes him character and benevolent, and instills courage in him like a lion, that is education. He said that Prime Minister Modiji has incorporated all these objectives of education in the new National Education Policy-2020 after extensive brainstorming. New Education Policy-2020 is related to the cultural roots of India and this education policy has been made by respecting the suggestions of all. Union Home Minister Shah said that the public education system is the basis of a vibrant democratic society.

National Education Policy is not just a policy document

Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the National Education Policy 2020 is not just a policy document but a reflection of the aspirations of all the learners, academicians, and citizens working in the education sector of India. Through rote knowledge, one can get a good position, but a person cannot become great. If a person has to grow up, then by increasing his ability to remember, think, reason, analysis and decisions, he will have to develop the ability to make decisions based on the policy and implement it... This is the aim of the new National Education Policy 2020.

India will again become a superpower in the world in terms of education

Shah said that whether it is technical education, medical education, or law education when we do not teach all these in Indian languages, we can use only five percent of the country's capabilities by limiting it. But when we teach this knowledge in Indian languages, we can utilize the 100% capacity of the country. He said that I am sure that through the new education policy, we will be able to see India again becoming a superpower in the world in terms of education.
