Before the National Congress of the Communist Party in China, once again a new threat of Corona started looming. Here two new sub-variants of Omicron have been confirmed, BF.7 and BA.5.1.7. Experts say both sub-variants are highly contagious and the BF.7 sub-variant spread to several Chinese provinces on Monday.

Li Shujian, deputy director of the local Centers for Disease Prevention and Control, said the BF.7 subvariant was first confirmed in northwest China. Whereas BA.5.1.7 has also been found in China. Officials in the northern Chinese province of Shandong said BF.7 was confirmed on October 4.

WHO warns

A warning has been issued by the World Health Organization regarding the BF.7 variant of Omicron. It is said that all these variants may soon make a new version. An expert has said that if measures are not taken soon to prevent the BF.7 variant, it could soon engulf the whole of China.

Zero Covid policy is still in force in China

While countries around the world have come out of the Corona restrictions, China still has a zero covid policy for its citizens. Under this, restrictions on the border, mass testing, extensive quarantine, and lockdown are to be imposed. The citizens of China are going through stringent restrictions due to the implementation of the Zero Covid policy. At the same time, because of this, President Xi Jinping is being criticized in countries other than China as well.
