Terrorism is one of the biggest problems in Pakistan.
Pakistan's PM Shahbaz Sharif tweeted that we should not make any mistakes. Terrorism is one of the biggest problems in Pakistan. He said that our armed forces and police have bravely fought this curse. No words are enough to condemn the attack of terrorists on a police van in Lakki Marwat. My thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families.
Terrorists opened fire on the police van
Pakistan's Daily Times reported that two motorcycle-borne terrorists opened fire on the van in Lakki Marwat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. At the same time, Pakistan's Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah also condemned the attack on police personnel in Lakki Marwat. The minister said that he has sought a report on the incident from the chief secretary and IG of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa asked for the report
At the same time, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan said that he has taken information about the attack on the police van. He has directed the IGP to submit the report at the earliest. The attack brought back memories of Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan's (TTP) bloody heyday in the early 2000s in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa's Swat, Global Strait View reported.
