Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to visit Gujarat on Tuesday. Here in Kutch, he also laid the foundation stone for the desalination plant, the country's largest solar project, and an automatic milk processing unit.

This hybrid renewable energy park is being built in Vighakot village in Kutch. This energy park spread over 72 thousand 600 hectares will be able to generate electricity up to 30 GW. There will be a separate zone for the storage of wind and solar energy. Modi said in his address- After the earthquake, the people of Kutch did not lose courage. Kutch, which was once deserted, now attracts tourists from all over the country and the world. The PM also referred to the peasant movement. Said- 24 hours are ready for the benefit of farmers. Some people are confusing the farmers.

24 hours ready for the benefit of farmers

The Prime Minister said that agricultural reforms were being demanded for many years. Farmers' organizations were always demanding this. Today, when the country took a historic step, the people of the opposition have started confusing the farmers. We are ready 24 hours for the benefit of farmers. The interest of farmers is paramount for us. I am confident that the strength of the blessings of the farmers will answer those who spread illusions, those who shoot guns from the shoulders of farmers.

National security was affected

Modi said in his speech- Kutch is moving fast. Fast people are coming to this border area. Now migration has stopped from here. People are coming back to the villages. This has a major impact on national security. Kutch, which was once deserted, is now becoming the center of tourism. White Rann of Kutch, the festival here attracts the world. On average 4-5 lakh people attend the festival.

Strange coincidence

Modi further said when elections were held after the earthquake. The result was December 15. People fiercely showered love on our party. There is another coincidence associated with this date. Our ancestors used to think of a wonderful one. An industrial exhibition was inaugurated in Ahmedabad on this day 118 years ago (1902). His theme was the Bhanu Thermometer, a device that operates from the heat of the Sun. Today, he has laid the foundation stone of a solar energy park running from the sun again.

Security will also be increased by the installation of windmills near the border. It will also help to reduce the electricity bill, reduce pollution, benefit the environment greatly. The electricity generated here will stop the emission of 50 million tons of carbon dioxide, will prevent the cutting of 9 million trees.

Narmada water was the first dream

Narmada water has reached Kutch. Modi also mentioned this. Said- Once upon a time there was talk of sending Narmada water to Kutch, then people used to call it impossible, but it happened. People came forward to conserve water. I cannot forget the day Narmada water reached here. Tears were flowing from every Kutchi's eyes. Millions of people are benefiting from the special grid created for water in Gujarat. This became the basis of the Jalivan Mission at the national level. Within a quarter of a year, water pipes have been delivered to 3 crore homes. Plants that convert sea water into drinking water are being prepared with water being transported to homes. This will benefit millions of families. 100 million liters of water will be supplied.

Separate network for farmers

The Prime Minister also mentioned farmers. Said- A separate network is being made for the farmers. New lines are being made for them. Gujarat is the first state to formulate policies for farmers. Earlier, solar power was said to be sold at Rs 16-17 per unit, today the same electricity is being sold for Rs 2-3 per unit. Our solar energy capacity has increased by 16 times. A study of 104 countries has emerged in this area. It states that India has made it to the top-3 countries among solar energy users.

Desalination plant to be built in Mandvi, Kutch

The desalination plant will be built in Mandvi, Kutch. With this help, 10 million (100 MLD) liters of sea water can be converted into drinking water every day. This will play an important role in addressing water scarcity in Gujarat. With this, drinking water can be supplied to about 8 lakh people of the area. It will be one of the five desalination plants being built in Gujarat. Similar plants are being built in Dahej, Dwarka, Ghogha Bhavnagar, and Gir Somnath.

Milk processing plant to be built for 121 crores

The automatic milk processing and packaging plant will be built in Kutch. 121 crores to it. Will be prepared for Rs. Out of this, about 2 lakh liters of milk liter can be processed every day.
