Polling starts in Lakshadweep

Thiruvananthapuram, April 10 (IANS) Polling began in India's smallest union territory Lakshadweep Thursday, officials said.

The group of 36 islands, of which 10 are uninhabited, Lakshadweep has an electorate of less than 50,000. A total of 43 polling booths have been set up.
