Pratibha Ranta, resident of Shimla, Himachal Pradesh, is making a lot of headlines for the film 'Lapata Ladies' made in Aamir Khan Production House. She did her schooling at the Convent of Jesus and Mary School and graduated in Film Production from Usha Praveen Gandhi College of Management, Mumbai. Pratibha started her career as a theater artist and dancer. However, later she came to Mumbai to do modeling.

The actress said, "I had to struggle a bit because I am a big fan of Aamir. Even though Aamir liked my performance, he didn't give me any concrete confirmation at that time."
