
New Delhi, March 5 (IANS) President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday greeted the nation on the eve of Holi.
"On the joyous occasion of Holi, I convey warm greetings and good wishes to all fellow citizens," the president said in his message.
"May this festival of colours promote oneness and harmony as well as bring happiness, good health and prosperity to all. Let us use this spring festival to spread the fame and fragrance of our composite culture far and wide," he added.
In a tweet, Modi said: "Happy Holi to everyone. May this festival of colours fill your lives with lots of joy."
Holi will be celebrated on Friday.
