Rahul Gandhi Greets Nation on Republic Day

New Delhi, Jan 26 (IANS) Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi Monday greeted the people on the 66th Republic Day.

"Wishing everyone a happy Republic Day," he said.

"On this Republic Day, let us renew our commitment to the values enshrined in our constitution and vow to work towards a just, united and prosperous India," he added.

US President Barack Obama was the chief guest at the Republic Day parade here.

Obama will meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, former prime minister Manmohan Singh and other senior party leaders later in the day.
