Operation Ganga is being run to rescue Indian citizens trapped in Ukraine. Till now thousands of Indian citizens have been brought home under Operation Ganga. The special thing is that the Government of India has rescued citizens of many countries apart from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal through this operation.

 

According to the Ministry of External Affairs, recently 9 citizens of Bangladesh have been rescued from Ukraine under Operation Ganga. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has thanked PM Modi for rescuing the citizens of Bangladesh. Government sources said that Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina has thanked PM Modi.

Rescued a Pakistani girl

 

Earlier, Asma Shafiq, a Pakistani student trapped in Ukraine under Operation Ganga, has also been rescued by the Government of India. Asma Shafiq has praised the Government of India and PM Modi. Asma is going to meet her family soon. Asma said, 'I want to thank the Indian Embassy in Kyiv. The Indian Embassy has supported us even in difficult situations. I would also like to thank the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi. Hopefully, we will reach home safely because of the Indian embassy.

 

So far 18 thousand Indians have been brought

 

The Ministry of External Affairs said that about 18,000 Indian nationals from Ukraine have been brought to India through special flights. On Tuesday, 410 Indian nationals were brought from neighboring countries of Ukraine by two special planes.
