The final decision on the inclusion, removal, or meeting of someone in the party will be taken by the party president.
The Uddhav faction had said that according to the 1999 constitution, the party chief had no such power. He alleged that the Election Commission did not even give time to put the 2018 Constitution on record. The new constitution has been ignored while taking the decision. Based on this argument, the Uddhav group demanded a stay on the decision of the Election Commission till the decision of the Supreme Court.
