The German Chancellor said that the place where the meeting will take place has not been decided yet. Putin had agreed to this meeting during a phone conversation with Trump.

Merz said, 'We do not know whether the Russian President will have the courage to attend such a summit. Therefore, persuasion is needed.' Merz was part of the delegation of European leaders who went to Washington on Monday to support the Ukrainian President.
There will be a meeting in the next two weeks
During a break in the meeting, he told reporters, 'The US President spoke to the Russian President on the phone and it was agreed that there will be a meeting between the Russian President and the Ukrainian President in the next two weeks.'
Agreement to invite a trilateral meeting
Merz further said that Trump has agreed to invite another trilateral meeting later, so that the talks can really begin.
