In such a situation, a customer of the capital Colombo said, many people have started commuting by cycle and public vehicles. The demand for bicycles in the country is also increasing continuously.
Tomatoes 1000 rupees and potatoes 800 rupees
The people of Sri Lanka have become obsessed with grain. The situation has become such that tomatoes are being sold at Rs 1000 per kg and potatoes at Rs 800 per kg. People are getting neither gas nor electricity. People are compelled to cook food on the wood stove. The people of Colombo say that this situation has happened due to the wrong decisions of the Sri Lankan government under the influence of China.
