Several pictures and videos are viral on social media, in which people can be seen running toward the walls to avoid being imprisoned inside the park.
In the viral video, people can be seen running toward the closed gates of the theme park, hoping to escape the captivity of the lockdown. A notice posted Monday on Shanghai Disneyland's official social media accounts said the huge theme park and surrounding facilities would remain closed until further notice. The theme park was reopened in June after being closed for 101 days during the city's brutal lockdown. Disney said in a statement, "We apologize for the inconvenience and will refund or exchange all guests affected during this period. As soon as we have a rescheduled date for the park to reopen, we'll let guests know." Will inform."
According to Johns Hopkins University, 97 cases of Kovid have been registered in Shanghai in the last 28 days.
