According to sources within the state BJP, a meeting of the Legislature Party is likely to be held tomorrow itself, in Shah's presence, during which the leader will be elected.

Bengal BJP President Samik Bhattacharya announced that the swearing-in ceremony will take place on Saturday, May 9, coinciding with Rabindra Jayanti. The event is scheduled to be held at 10:00 AM at Kolkata's historic Brigade Parade Ground. It is noteworthy that on Tuesday, the BJP's Parliamentary Board had appointed Home Minister Shah as the central observer for the selection of the Legislature Party leader in Bengal.
