In such a situation, the Uddhav Thackeray government of the state has issued instructions to further tighten the rules of mini lockdown. Under this, now grocery, fruit, dairy, and vegetable shops will be opened in the state for only four hours. However, the delivery of these things has also been allowed by the state government till 8 pm.

According to the new order of the Uddhav Thackeray government, all grocery, vegetable, dairy, bakery, and fruit shops will be opened only between 7 am and 11 am. This will also be the opening time for shops related to agricultural implements, animal feed shops, food, and beverages (chicken, mutton, fish, and eggs). However, home delivery from these shops will continue from 7 am to 8 pm. Local administration can change these times.
