After the night curfew, weekend lockdown in Maharashtra, now even the 'Break the chain' campaign could not control the pace of Corona. In such a situation, the Uddhav Thackeray government of the state has issued instructions to further tighten the rules of mini lockdown. Under this, now grocery, fruit, dairy, and vegetable shops will be opened in the state for only four hours. However, the delivery of these things has also been allowed by the state government till 8 pm.
According to the new order of the Uddhav Thackeray government, all grocery, vegetable, dairy, bakery, and fruit shops will be opened only between 7 am and 11 am. This will also be the opening time for shops related to agricultural implements, animal feed shops, food, and beverages (chicken, mutton, fish, and eggs). However, home delivery from these shops will continue from 7 am to 8 pm. Local administration can change these times.
This decision has been taken after the Maharashtra government's meeting on Monday. It was discussed in the meeting that people are going out to shop for groceries and are crowding the market. Explain that Maharashtra is the most affected state of Corona. Every day more than 50 thousand new cases of corona are being registered. On Sunday, more than 68 thousand new patients were reported in Maharashtra. On Monday, the figure was 58 thousand 924. In the last 24 hours, 351 people have died of the corona.
