There have been allegations of preventing Muslim voters from voting at a polling booth in the Fatehpur Sikri assembly constituency of Agra. SP-RLD alliance candidate Brajesh Chahar has filed a complaint with the District Election Officer, accusing the polling party and the police of preventing Muslim voters from voting at the Kirawali Ahuapura polling station. It is also to be said that the defective EVM machine at Mangrol Jat booth 184 has not been replaced even after an hour.

On the other hand, controversy has also come to the fore in the Fatehabad assembly constituency. In a letter issued by the Samajwadi Party (SP) Lucknow office, it has been alleged that BJP people are preventing voters from voting at polling booth number 237 in Fatehabad, Agra. There is pressure to vote for a particular party. The SP has demanded action from the Election Commission in the matter.

Control room phones kept ringing

Officers and employees are sitting in the control room located in the Collectorate for complaints related to the polling station. Around 50 complaints have been registered from morning till 12:30 pm. These include EVM malfunctioning, not being named in the voter list, not being able to go to vote, and other complaints.

Police and administrative officers are being informed from the control room itself so that the complaint can be resolved. This control room is designed for 24 hours. In this, employees have been deployed in 3 shifts. 27 employees have been put on duty.
