उत्तर प्रदेश के सभी सरकारी प्राइमरी स्कूलों के कक्षा एक से आठ तक के छात्रों को कोरोनॉयरस के प्रकोप के मद्देनजर परीक्षाओं में शामिल हुए बिना पदोन्नत किया जाएगा।
“बेसिक शिक्षा विभाग द्वारा संचालित स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले सभी छात्रों को बढ़ावा देने के लिए कक्षा एक से आठ तक अगली कक्षाओं में बिना परीक्षा दिए जाने के आदेश जारी किए गए हैं। सभी स्कूलों को 2 अप्रैल तक के लिए बंद कर दिया गया है, ”अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव, शिक्षा रेणुका कुमार ने मंगलवार रात जारी एक आदेश में कहा।
बोर्ड को छोड़कर प्रतियोगी और अन्य परीक्षाएं 2 अप्रैल तक के लिए स्थगित कर दी गई हैं।
सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने बुधवार को बच्चों को मिड-डे मील न मिलने की बात पर ध्यान दिया क्योंकि देश के कई हिस्सों में स्कूल कोरोनवायरस वायरस की महामारी के कारण बंद हो गए हैं।
मुख्य न्यायाधीश एस ए बोबडे की अध्यक्षता वाली पीठ ने मामले का संज्ञान लिया और राज्यों और केंद्रशासित प्रदेशों को नोटिस जारी कर पूछा कि स्कूलों के बंद होने के बीच बच्चों को मध्यान्ह भोजन कैसे उपलब्ध कराया जा रहा है।
COVID-19 के प्रकोप को देखते हुए दिल्ली-एनसीआर और कई अन्य राज्यों में स्कूल 31 मार्च तक बंद हैं।
भारतीय जनता पार्टी ने कोरोवायरस के प्रकोप के मद्देनजर एक महीने तक कोई विरोध या प्रदर्शन नहीं करने का फैसला किया है, पार्टी अध्यक्ष जे.पी. नड्डा ने बुधवार, 18 मार्च, 2020 को कहा।
पार्टी सार्वजनिक समारोहों को आयोजित नहीं करेगी, उन्होंने कहा कि अगर उन्हें कुछ भी बताना है, तो पार्टी के वरिष्ठ नेता ज्ञापन के माध्यम से ऐसा करेंगे।
नड्डा ने कहा, "सभी पार्टी इकाइयों को कोरोनोवायरस और उनके डॉस और डोनट्स के बारे में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए कहा गया है।"
