What did Sehwag reveal
Virender Sehwag said that the then BCCI secretary Amitabh Choudhary told him that things were not going well between Kohli and Kumble and the board wanted him to shoulder the responsibility. Sehwag told News18 India, "I would not have applied for the post of the head coach if Virat Kohli and the then BCCI secretary Amitabh Chaudhary had not approached me."
He further said, 'We had a meeting. Amitabh Chowdhary told me that things are not going well between Virat Kohli and Anil Kumble. We want you to take up the responsibility of coaching.
